It's an annoying one for me! Budget-wise (especially with a 100mi round trip) I don't think I could afford a Season Ticket at the full price, but I would snap one up in a heartbeat if the £266 price would be guaranteed.

I wonder if any other people are in the same boat?

Sorry, I just don't understand why a difference of £60 over the course of 12 months is enough to put you off getting an ST? It's the cost of two Costa Coffees a month difference. Take the risk and get on board.

Buy one at the full price, and if it doesn't go down skip one or two matches (and the associated travel costs) meaning it costs you no more than at the lower price.

No net £ loss whatsoever.

So you can afford £266 in a heartbeat but not £330? Is that right?

Well I am renewing and have a similar issue with travel costs. I will just be more selective about the matches I attend but the Club will still get my money. #superfan

Especially if you opt for the interest free payment scheme (who wouldn't!). The difference would be £5 a month.

I think it's unfair to judge someones financial situation.

For me, it's important as I'd have to pay over the 12 months. It does make a difference when you're a home owner in your 20s with a young family.

For me, I'd be more than willing to make some kind of financial sacrifice to afford another £5 a month...

I think he's missed my general point.

The OP said that he was keen to buy an ST for £266, suggesting that he had the funds to make the 100-mile trip at £266. So, surely the OP is capable of budgeting an extra £65 at the worst over the course of a year to be a part of it.
