Insect of the day...... 12:53 - Jun 10 with 1260 views | BanksterDebtSlave | The dragonfly nymph/dragonfly. https://images.app.goo.gl/hMk9w9rm57jsdBMe9 .....the jaws of your garden pond where it spends several years before emerging for a matter of weeks. They would be well advised to stay in their ponds for now! (As I should have stayed in my bed this morning) [Post edited 10 Jun 2019 13:22]

At least you've stopped trying to fob us off with day-old insects now. Btw, as a favour to me, could you avoid the praying mantis? It holds a special significance for me and seeing one brings back all sorts of memories. Thanks in advance, footers

After about 3 years of being jaws in the pond the nymph has emerged, attatched itself to the grass and metamorphosed into the emerging dragongly. By the way this is the jpg link that was causing a hotlink warning message on at least one person's device....after pms neither of us are any the wiser as to why!

That's not normal. But then neither is childbirth. Reproduction is just weird all round. Things coming out of eggs, little people coming out of other people. It's all wrong.
