Evan's wont pay to take mould off of the roof of a stand.

This shouldnt shock anybody. It's still disgusting and unacceptable mind.

More makes you wonder if we should check the qualifications of some of the medical staff, injuries, undiagnosed injuries, long term injuries, seems to be a common theme for us.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Just read this, we've all questioned the capability of the medical staff with the persistant and prolonged injuries. Perhaps there's something in it?

Chris Smith had back injuries but he is too old and seemingly played during that period. I expect Joe will know, perhaps someone like Ronan, he went on loan and then never played

Don't think it's in the best taste to speculate on it, tbh.

It's having that duty of care for its employees regardless of their status at the club, but we've shown we have enough trouble managing injuries of our first team, so is it a surprise? Not a comfortable read.

I know of 2 players since this who have had back injuries that have been misdiagnosed or mistreated - it's a concern that lessons may not have been learned.

Embarrassing stuff from the club again. There is a basic duty of care to all employees that Evans has failed to live up to again and again. This is what happens when everything outside the first team gets run on the cheap.

"The youngster returned home for the Christmas break in 2015 without a clear diagnosis and management plan."

FFS. Seriously, anyone who has suffered, and being treated, for backpain knows there has to be a management plan. That no one wanted to pay a few hundred quid for an MRI compounds that.

It is also bizarre how our fans go so OTT about any negative stories that they can find. No club gets injuries dead on straight away everytime, not a club in the world and also not every hospital or scan. It is not good for the young man but really it isn't anywhere near the scandal it is being made out to be.

Disagree. Look at our history record over the last few years. If anything it should set alarm bells ringing. Is it a coincidence that it keeps happen at our club when players are injured long term? Well it appears not and we should expect it based on how this young footballer was treated.

Don't you mean 'including' the first team?

Clubs should be sending these boys, who are full time at the club at this stage, for scans if they have issues.

The first team players will get scanned for anything, quite rightly, but this should be the same with (at the very least) full time footballers in the academy.

How much is an MRI scan? Because all this, and others I'm aware of, are all down to that 'cost saving'

I make you wrong.

But your support for the Evans regime clearly has no limits. Defending the indefensible.
I respect that.

Lol. We're paying Bart 10k a week to sit on the bench (currently) and you're still defending the fact that Evans wasn't willing to sanction 7% of Bart's weekly salary on looking after a young pro's developing body.

The mind boggles.
