Re: Judge 09:14 - Jul 23 with 1505 viewsblueysbackside

What is his role in this team?
I would much rather see Rowe as our no10 with our new loan signing on the left.
It won’t happen, of course.

Judge has said his preferred position is No 10.

I think he linked his time with us due to us playing him in the hole (number 10), more often than not.

Im assuming he will go to QPR and play the same role, but on more wages, league above and a stone throw from where he lives.

Judge is better than Rowe.

The Lincoln fans suggest that Rowe is best as a No10.

...although not as good as Judge I suspect.

Lets make the decision based on our priorities, not his.

To be fair, Judge has indicated he will not force a move.

So lets keep him.

Rowe is looking good but not that good!

Judge at 10 with Edwards one side, Sears the other and Norwood up top is our strongest attacking line up.

I suspect Rowe is going to get his chance though - up to him to take it.

However Sears will not be available for at least the first third of the season.

Gives us plenty of chance to try out Rowe and Judge in both the left wing and number 10 positions (assuming neither leaves)

I’d be inclined to play them both and give them license to switch and keep the opposition guessing

Every forward players preferred position is number 10, cos they are all dilettantes who want to get all the credit and not run around much, and they all fancy themselves as Messi.

Judge Edwards and Sears all injured. Our forward options at the mo are basically Nors Jackson Rowe and the kids.

Yes about 10 times better ,no disrespect to Rowe , Judge is Championship standard and an International . Maybe thats why Warburton is trying to buy him and not Rowe !

I suspect that quietly Judge is looking to move for obvious reasons, money and locality of QPR. Think over time this move we may not have much choice but are currently trying to get as much as we can, bit like Waghorn
