£1,000 a week then wonderful business. £20,000 a week would be madness.
Assuming he'll be signed on a similar wage to Norwood and Jackson, to fight for a starting place (one he's unlikely to win) then absolutely.
We will be bullied physically by a lot of spoilers next season and there are some massive centre halves who know every trick in the book. In games where Norwood is getting nothing and Jackson has no room in behind, then a massive beast of a centre forward can play a vital part.
Would you be happy if Tom Elliott signed? on 09:57 - Jul 29 by BlueBlood90
He scored against us last season!
Well there you go. As time passes, and the kids get closer to buying me a ticket to the Switzerland, I get less and less interested in players from other clubs.

What? Are you an accountant
I'm more worried about whether he's any good or not.
Absolutely, a brilliant signing. If you have seen him play against us, unfortunately I saw home and away last year, you will be very aware that he is an absolute handful, maybe without the goalscoring record of a Norwood.
With him coming in it almost completes our striking options.
Norwood - Predatory mould, the real goal getter. Jackson - lightning speed, raw and sharp in pre season to stretch defences Elliot - The target man Sears (to return) - always in behind on the last man
Probably the ebst attack force in the league off the top of my head. Without doubt we have the best midfield in the league
Have to, have to organise the defence to be supremely disciplined this season.
