Evans has 2 options 10:00 - Aug 2 with 1411 views | Bluefish | The club wont ever pay off his debt for the remainder of his life. Football clubs don't make money especially if you want to be better than others in your league. He can close it down and stop himself losing more money that he will never see again or he can find a level where a club our size can be sustainable, this will mean slashing costs far beyond what we have seen so far and they and be a club similar to the likes of Accrington Stanley.

Evans has 2 options on 10:04 - Aug 2 with 1109 views | WarkTheWarkITFC | Those are the two options are they Einstein? Close it down or keep getting relegated until we make as much from ticket sales as we pay in wages? So there's no option to invest and try and get promoted, to sell the club, or to even give it away. Just to close it down or aim for successive relegations? I'd be amazed if Lambert doesn't take your advice now. Clearly the Lionel Messi of rationale.

Fully expect large parts of it to be shut off next season, if not earlier. It will end up being torn down and used for a "community sports project" of some sort. We'll be groundsharing with Colchester in a few years.

Please let me know which clubs above us make money? Please also let know the level of investment required and at what point it will be paid off?

Pretty much all clubs make losses. Are you suggesting that the football league is actually a race to finish bottom and the teams who end up top are actually really bad at trying to lose?

It is a fair point. I do work with the running of schools and listen to small schools moaning about struggling to balance their budgets, the blindly obvious answer is to shut the schools down and merge with neighbouring schools. It is not a popular answer and is very similar to football.

You started ok there, pretty much all clubs make losses. Correct so do explain how we are ever going to pay of some debt? No idea what your 2nd paragraph is about, it definitely doesn't relate to the question asked

I look forward to the Bluefish League One fixtures coming out Scunthorpe Grimsby and Lincoln United Town City start with a trip to title favourites Bristol and Bath City Rovers, whilst recently relegated Rochdale Stockport Accrington Stanley host Maidstone Gillingham United. The pick of the bunch though is arguably Manchester City United & Everton U23's who host deadly rivals Bolton Bury Fleetwood Blackpool Burnley Town Rovers. What a vision.

….will be the first step. Then whole stands. But yes, if he doesn't sell, which he appears to not want to do, then he'll definitely be looking for ways to get out of paying the rent on the ground. If he even does pay it now. Which I doubt. Ipchester Utd.

Thank you. I am aware that amateur clubs that play in front of 90 people have merged. Would you like to reel off the list of professional clubs with any kind of actual history that have? Fans of clubs above a certain size will not merge. They'd rather go down to Step 8 and start again than become something else. The reason those clubs merged is because they had about 8 people that cared about them and a few fans that watched them because they were local whilst supporting a league club as well. Look up any of those clubs before the merger and they'd achieved nothing. Wake up.

Feels like the "no cash" policy Evans has taken on tickets is to dissuade as many walk-ups on the day as possible which in turn will mean he can indeed shut parts of the stadium. EDIT; top wheeze: if and when I do go next season I am going to pick a ticket in the most sparsely populated bit of the stadium I can find. [Post edited 2 Aug 2019 10:26]
