Antivirus advice 08:58 - Aug 4 with 638 views

I have been using AVG for several years, but a couple of people have recently mentioned that is why my laptop is so slow.

Can anyone on here recommend any decent Antivirus packages?

I have just used for years Avast [free] alongside Malwarebytes [free] and they seem to complement each other quite well. I do find MB can drag things a bit when scanning but don't they all on a scan? Maybe not.

Maybe take a look to see what free trials are out there if you want to buy a more comprehensive package: Bitdefender have a good name but I'd read a few reviews first in respect of how packages may or not slow your machine.

There's a few experts on here so I'm sure someone will guide you at some point.
