May I have a moan? 18:05 - Oct 5 with 4682 views | Pendejo | 1. We missed a penalty, should have been more comfortable today plus better goals difference 2. Sending off, losing a key player to suspension Ok moan over Would have taken a draw away from home with teams around us dropping points, but a win and teams dropping points is superb. Still doesn't seem like we're bossing games but gritty wins grinding out points builds character and confidence with less arrogance. Here's hoping player of season in waiting is ok for next league games. COYB [Post edited 5 Oct 2019 18:20]

| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

I lost count the amount of times John Lyall said that during the 91-92 season. Let’s hope we can say that a few more times yet.
May I have a moan? on 19:10 - Oct 5 with 4235 views | IP33 | FWIW I'm heading home delighted. Maybe an unpopular opinion on here, but for me best performance of the season today. Only criticism is we could of killed the game off quicker. So many positives, results all went for us. Uppa town | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Agree with that. Wilson is fourth choice out of four when all CBs are fit.

May I have a moan? on 20:26 - Oct 5 with 4007 views | strikalite | Your two points are not exactly a moan, dreadful pen no getting away from that and yes you have to convert those, it's about being better, if we strive to be better then it keeps us grounded, it's only October... But that was a big win, others around us slipped up, a nice rest now and come back even better after the break..

point of order , every game in the league that wilson has started we have won. so he could be classed as a key player. 7 wins

You learnt that on the radio today. Only issue with that stat though is that it can’t be related to him being a key player as he isn’t. In fact, he’s the weakest player in the starting 11 and in my opinion, the weakest of the 18 today.

Enlighten me. It’s become very fashionable all of a sudden to big up Wilson. He does OK and has improved playing with better players but he’s the least talented player we had in the match day squad today and far from being a very important player given he’s still 4th choice CB. How is any of that nonsense?

Agree Hatful of chances created against a decent side at home, who didn't have a shot on target Dominating performance.

It was about as far away from a "dominating performance" as you can imagine. Bitty, tense, moves breaking down, midfield bypassed etc. I'm not really sure where this narrative comes from. Wilson played really well again today too. Hopefully his missed game counts as Gillingham, this thread is all over the shop.

For the record, that wasn’t me who minus voted you... The question about Wilson is, “is he an important player?”, not whether he played well. He’s come in and taken his chance and improved a lot since I saw him at Cambridge now he’s settling in but how he’s now regarded as an important player is beyond me. Distribution isn’t great, some rash decision making but he has provided good competition and done well imo. Looking down the list of 18, he is the weakest in that squad though.

have to disagree Wilson ahead of Toto for me 3 CB challenging for 2/3 place (if we play a 4 or 3 at the back) Toto is 4th [Post edited 6 Oct 2019 20:57]
