I did a first aid course decades ago, have forgotten most of it, and it's surprisingly difficult to find a first aid course for not-working, not parenting, people round here - also pretty expensive where they are available.

CPR really isn't difficult for those fit enough to do it. Without looking, I'm certain there will be videos online that will explain and show all you need to know to carry out effective CPR.
