Anyone a member?

Looks really good, not too big and with a nice vibe to it.

I’ve had bad experiences with gyms before so hoping this will be the one to change it!

Also, any tips for someone who is fat but doesn’t wanna be ripped.

No comment on the gym, but your request for tips...

if you're fat - don't worry, you won't be ripped.... ( in order to look ripped you have to have a low bodyfat level, so even if you do loads of strength work, you're unlikely to drop enough weight to get that ripped look).

If you want to lose weight though, do the strength work - the larger your muscles, and the more that you use them, the more calories you burn ( also muscular people have higher metabolic rates, so you burn more energy just living).

Other than that - what do you want out of the gym? You need to create a program that fulfills 3 things.

1. tailored to the physical aims that you have ( be that strength, cardio fitness, weight loss etc)
2. enjoyable ( if you don't enjoy it there's very little chance you'll keep up with it)
3. fits into your lifestyle ( again, if your plan calls for 5 sessions a week, but you end up missing 3 of them every week, then motivation will disappear very quickly)

So be honest with yourself. Work out what you want, and what you are prepared to put in, and then tailor your plan to get it - if its a decent gym, the trainers there should be able to help you put a plan together.

good luck
