It's the real life embodiment of that episode in Peep Show where mental Mary tries to give a pub to Jez and Super Hans.

It's what she wants because she's completely away with the fairies. Despite some of us trying to play Mark and suggest that it might actually not be the sane thing to do, the Jeremy's and the Han's of this world have had their way and got the pub. It doesn't make sense and isn't even properly thought through.

The depressing thing is I'd trust Jez more than I would Boris and the rest of the Government.

- By the way. I know some decent, intelligent people voted for Brexit and I appreciate they will have valid reasons. But it's clear to me that everyone without any clue whatsoever also voted for it.

Never has an innocent post looked so wrong in isolation!

At least there wouldn’t have been any logo in the foam there.

Poor bexiteers, it just gets worse by the day

"Donald Trump will put the interests of corporate America first and demand that the NHS pays higher prices for US drugs in a free-trade deal with the UK, the outgoing British ambassador to Washington has told the Guardian.

Kim Darroch, in his first interview since his resignation from his post in July, from where he spearheaded attempts to grow trade with the US, insisted that Trump would reward his backers in drug firms and farming communities by opening up British markets, while questioning where the UK’s gains would be found.".

And given that the aged brexit bigots are the ones most dependent upon these sort of drugs and immigrant care workers it will be them that suffer the most.

Maybe that was the Tories intent all along. Kill off the old folk who are costing the country a fortune, and solve the housimng crisis by freeing up homes.

Just here to say I am a big fan of these torturous analogies you are always coming up with and I hope you keep doing them.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
Poll: With Evans taking 65% in Huddersfield, is the Banter Era over?

Extract from a BBC news report:

"Brexit supporters are in a party mood as they travel from Southampton to London for tonight's celebrations.

On the coach, the gang has champagne and song sheets as they serenade our reporter with Land of Hope and Glory".

Champagne? How unpatriotic, surely they must be drinking English sparkling wine?

I bet the irony is lost on them.

Poll: What type of manager will we get?
