Could this end up in court? 08:06 - Mar 13 with 881 views | Bluefish | if Shambo has a clause that says he gets a small payoff when we mathematically can't go up or if we finish outside the top 6. This season could not get finished and we could be left stuck with the worst manager in the club's history. No chance Evans will let him try a 3rd time to show he has any managerial credibility so he will sack him but want to pay the lower rate, PRP will try and rinse him for every penny knowing that he won't ever work in football again. Could get messy

If the season is terminated or voided, you could probably make a reasonable argument for exceptional circumstances and base things on performance to date. But it would almost certainly come to court.
