Bennetts needs a bit more game time in his legs it seems - decent carrier of the ball but takes the James Norwood approach to shooting.

Think there's a useful player in Bennetts on what I've seen so far. Needs to sharpen his end product and decision-making but clearly pretty decent technically and he's quick as well.

That's my worry. I don't want to develop him ahead of Lankester. I do think Lankester will still get lots of game time though.

Looks to have skill but aside from that cannot be judged on a the fleeting moments we have seen of him. I think he will be given an opportunity to show it before long.

Looks to have skill but aside from that cannot be judged on a the fleeting moments we have seen of him. I think he will be given an opportunity to show it before long.

The positive for me is that he's got into positions where he could have scored or assisted in only about half an hour of game time. We've seen players who can do a stepover before but ultimately rarely get into positions to hurt the opposition or where they might contribute goals. From the little we've seen of him he looks capable of being a threat rather than just looking to have potential.

It made sense from the point of view that it meant we had an extra winger so wouldn't have to keep playing Judge there. However Lambert has continued to play Judge there so...

Lambert does also seem to be as keen for the youth to be given meaningful opportunities as your average ham-faced Tory.
