Its different this time as they got loads of votes early via postal ballots. It's much more difficult if you receive everything early isn't it?
Actually as it happens they are still receiving them in some states which i find barmy, surely they should have had a deadline a week before the election.

The huge flaw in the system which has become very obvious is to have each state make its own electoral laws and practises. If there had been uniformity we would not have this chaotic situation, Whether this will change in the aftermath , I very much doubt.
However the Democrats would still have stolen the election.

Here the guy that was effectively Chief Minister who oversaw our response to the pandemic , and who topped the poll by a huge margin got voted out of the post by his peers.

I did see there was talk of him running for 2024...
I think the aftermath of his presidency will be such that it won't happen. Given the state of Trump I'm not sure he'll still be alive in four years. It sounded like desperation from those who had attached themselves to him and failed to get out in time.
