Attacking the press and fans for being negative is hardly going to make everyone change tack and say, "oh fair point, let's start being positive." If he had a brain in his nut he'd start being more honest, admit it's not quite clicking at the moment, but him and the team are working hard to put things right blah blah.
Brenner, for example, is so mild-mannered and certainly not overtly negative.
People might have a bit more respect for Lambert if he at least had a bit of sincerity. He must be stupid if he thinks we're that stupid.
