Both the performances and how I feel. I genuinely can’t remember feeling this down about ITFC, and I’ve been supporting them for nearly 50 years. The manager has to go, but won’t. The owner is killing the club, but we are stuck with him. We must get out of this league this year, but that looks impossible. Like never before, we need the right decision on our next manager, but the only way that will happen is if Evans is lucky, as I have zero faith in his decision making. This looks like a long stay in the third tier of English football. Death by a thousand cuts. The club slowly, very slowly bleeding to death. But no way out. And meanwhile, just to magnify ME’s failings and how far we’ve fallen, up the road in Norfolk, a comparatively well run club challenges for and appears in the Premier League and brings in tens of millions each season. We are a far inferior club in so many ways to them now, and that hurts, really hurts. ME, what have you done to us? |  |
