This is a neat summation of Evans’ ownership - doesn’t want to face (or can’t see) the issues that need dealing with so puts his head in the sand hoping it’ll turn out ok.
Despite this mess now playing out publicly, I can still see him here in a few weeks. Evans will then act when it’s too late and we’ll get another of his naff open letters where he says he’s definitely learned the right lessons this time and will definitely make sure he’ll get it right from now on. Whereas Evans and the enlightened minds over at ITFC were watching from the stands where one can really see those beautiful green shoots emerging from the pitch.

I think he'll still be thinking that top 6 is a real possibility and the chance of promotion that comes with that. When in reality, what's been shown on the pitch has been atrocious for too long now.
I fear it won't be until the end of the season.
I've watched all iFollow games this season apart from last night. I might watch Saturday as it's Oxford and my old workmate plays for them, but beyond that, I don't think I can justify wasting my time and money on something that I'm just not enjoying. |  | | |

We have a manager that doesn’t want to be here but isn’t going to walk away from his payoff, and an owner that won’t or can’t pay him to do so. And we’re stuck until one of them blinks
