Totally agree, both very poor. Rashford doesn’t warrant a place in the England starting XI at the moment either.

I'm not even sure he warrants a place in the squad...I'm tempted to take Saka or Watkins ahead of him, even Bamford is looking like a more logical option. But of course Southgate won't because he's too nice...

Rashford has been off form since the start of the year, you should only take your inform strikers into international competitions, Bamford should be there instead of Rashford. A pity as an inform Rashford will destroy a team but he's struggling at the moment and that chance he missed last night was a terrible miss in anyone's book

Paul Pogba on 09:45 - May 27 with 3434 views | rickw | I disagree on Pogba - he was in a holding midfield role last night, so it was his job to control possession and Man Utd dominated that - although he wasn't as good as McTominnay. The problem with Rashford is that he always plays, and by the end of the season he's tired and carrying several minor injuries - Solskjaer doesn't seem to rate or trust anyone outside their first 11/12 players. I think he can be a very effective impact sub for England though - his pace coming on against tired defences....

bamford is a much better team player than rashford. he will not hide and works hard for the team and scores goals as well.watkins is in the squad and may still go.

Agreed, he's not been great, but calling him a total fraud and show pony is totally over the top and could be deemed abuse.

On that, I’d take Bamford and Watkins over Calvert-Lewin.

Think you’re being generous with your assessment of Pogba there. He was poor.
Paul Pogba on 10:59 - May 27 with 3234 views | Chrisd | Him and Fernandes were poor last night. However, McTominany is blossoming into a very good midfielder for them.

Paul Pogba on 15:30 - May 27 with 3074 views | The_Last_Baron | Man Utd were poor last night but there was more than Pogba who didn't do much. Greenwood and Rashford weren't up to scratch either. McTominay was probably their best player. De Gea never looked like saving any penalties and Solskjaer failed to make the changes when he needed to. Villarreal probably the poorest side to ever win the UEFA Cup. Ipswich 1981 would have beaten them 5-0.

Deemed abuse ? What are you taking about? It’s my opinion How many games (against good teams not WBA etc) has Pogba had for Manure? He is paid an obscene amount of money but time after time fails to deliver. Last night he was very poor, his distribution was awful and he put less effort in than Cavali His agent constantly tries to get him a move ( or he dosnt make any money) if I was Man U I would get rid

do you think he plays well for them? "Sub par Man U?" Seriously? They finished 2nd, with Maguire, Shaw, Rashford (England players) plus McTominey, Fernandez, Cavali etc.. The others are not terrible and I think Ole made a few mistakes with his tactics and late subs in a game clearly going 120 minutes They are not Man City but who is ? Pogbas performances have been generally bang average in my view

Paul Pogba on 16:18 - May 28 with 2656 views | J2BLUE | Rashforod had a poor game but it's laughable to suggest he should be in the England squad. Agree he might not be a starter right now but he's a damn good player and a great option on the bench. He's had a decent season and will be part of the England squad for several tournaments to come. Would be incredibly short sighted - and unjust - to leave him out.

Given the options available to us I don’t see how he merits a place in the squad. Will be very interesting to see what Southgate does.

He’s also competing with the attacking midfielders though. Sterling, foden, Sancho all ahead of him for me. In terms of strikers if Danny Ings is fit I’d take him ahead of Rashford. Possibly Bamford as well.
