I don’t want to all ‘woo’ about MSM, but some parts of BBC news are bloody awful right now. And the future doesn’t look good for them with the recent senior political appointments.

Indeed. BBC News are missing out on the advantages of a public service where they could be producing solid, objective and non-clickbaity journalism as standard. And they’re suffering from the disadvantages of a public service where they’re politically and ideologically controlled via government at the top.
