We are club that has stuck through managers no matter what. Not sure in current climate that's the best thing. I hate to say it but the Chelsea/ Watford model might be the best solution. Until we get the right guy in. Football has changed massively and the only way is up. | | | |

I think we need someone who fits the structure Ashton and Gamechanger want to create. It’s not very Ipswich and possibly a bit trendy and modern akin to Swansea, Brentford, Wolves et al.
I’m not sure we can attract a foreign coach who isn’t already over here do the talent pool may be fairly shallow. Unfortunately Cook is clearly more used to being a traditional manager and there’s nothing wrong with that but given Ashton turned him down twice prior, you can see why the way he went after the old players and the dismal return this season has led us here.
Perhaps that misalignment is going to a problem at the bottom of Div 3 |  |
