I can't decide how I feel about brioche rolls. The ciabatta is clearly overrated nonsense, but I just can't decide how I feel about the brioche. (Am eating a ham, cheese an cheesy coleslaw brioche roll at mo) |
Had challah bread the other week which was similarly sweet to brioche. Very nice it was too.
For me, a bagel is a bit rich and stodgy. And the hole in the middle is a nuisance. There, I said it. | |

I have to say, not that big a fan of a plain bagel, but a sesame seed or an onion one are oft enjoyed.
But they're not as good as a stotty - Newcy brought some down a while back, and untouchable as a base for a bacon breakfast treat. | |
