An interesting little snippet from the hated Telegraph and their blog:
"A Chechen fighting unit sent to Ukraine to assassinate President Zelensky has been "eliminated", the country's defence ministry said.
Oleksiy Danilov, the Secretary of the National Security and Defence Council, said on the Ukrainian 24 TV channel that: "We are already aware of the special operation that was to be carried out by Kadyrov forces unit.
"We received the information from representatives of Russia’s Federal Security Service who do not want to take part in this bloody war.
"The Kadyrov forces unit, which came to kill our President, was eliminated."
He added that the "assassination attempt" was "prevented in Kyiv Oblast".
The unit was reportedly sent into Ukraine by Ramzan Kadyrov, leader of Russia's Checnya region and a close ally of Vladimir Putin."
