I'd have been happy to have him here, but with the season starting next week I'm hopeful that we are now either happy with what we have or move on quickly to another target.
I remember Dyer being the superstar of 98/99 and being gutted we sold him. Instead we brought in several players that made us more of a team and finally got over the line. Whilst we aren't selling Celina and reinvesting that cash, the point stands.

Not many players fly to Turkey to consider something. I'd say it's probably the case they've agreed terms, sold him on the club / project and it's medical time now.
Although in this case it's not impossible it's not that advanced as several Turkish clubs were in for him and about 15 of the 20 top teams all seem to be in Istanbul, so not impossible he's flown in there and will have a nosy at more than one club. | | | |

Still believe Celina was more of a fan desire than one of KM tbh. Especially with the recent signing from pompy. The types of players we've brought in athletically are on a different level to celina and they all can cover that left side 10 if needed. That's not to say he wouldn't want him and I'm sure if a deal could have been done it would have happened but I'm under the opinion KM has his no.1 targets and funds are directed more at those than 2nd choice signings. |  |
