It are you on today's pilgrimage?
Just about to have brekky, then give the car a tidy up before rounding up some passengers and heading the 80 or so miles to Ipswich.
After the last 20 odd years I expect nothing, don't get me wrong I'm excited, but simply have no expectations, only hope.
Predictions? None from me, just hope we challenge, make at least 3 rounds in the FA Cup, and yep I'll take a pizza cup final at Wembley. I hope we go into next season with current manager and that the Americans enjoy the ride so much they join the crowds at PR every home game.
But even if we managed to slip into the 4th tier, I will be back again

Just about to leave Gloucestershire. It'll be a long trip there and back but hopefully worth the effort.
Next Saturday's drive will only be about an hour to FGR, so much easier.
Excitement is high, expecting a bumpy ride but looking forward to the season ahead.

Good morning to all.
No car cleanup here! Might need to sell a kidney to fill the tank though. Eldest son will have a 200 mile driving lesson and, all going well, will see his first cousins once removed from both sides of the family. I might see a few old friends at the game too.
Parking and traffic could be a challenge with the big crowd and no trains, but that’s just a feature, not a problem.
I’m predicting a win today and a successful year ahead, but that’s usually my thinking before the season starts.
