On Friday, it was announced that Firefighter Barry Martin sadly succumbed to the injuries he sustained days early at he severe fire at Jenners in Edinburgh.
A worker who turned up for work that day, only to lose their life in the line of duty.
Fire minister (Yes. FIRE minister) Chris Philip has yet been able to find the time to comment on this.
To give him the benefit of the doubt, he may be ill or incapacitated in some other way.
But no.
A quick check of his twitter account sees that he has managed to some how find the time to send four tweets since Barry Martin's death was announced.
Two retweets of JK Rowling comments on trans issues.
A further retweet of an issue regarding a cycle lane near Hyde Park.
He has even managed to write a tweet all of his own criticising Kier Starmer.
No one could surely criticise his diligence and commitment to causes he clearly feels very strongly about, especially during the weekend.
But a firefighter dying in the course of their duty?
That's seems one step too far........
