Yes, the Portugal Czech game was a bit attack v defence and laboured. Terrific goal by the Czechs.

I was at the game! Without a doubt the best atmosphere I’ve ever experienced and the game was fantastic. Both sets of fans were superb and both teams gave absolutely everything. It felt like a cup final. The Turkish were bibbing their horns and waving their flags out of their cars from immediately after the match until at least 1am when I eventually managed to get some kip! It was incredible. We managed to get tickets for three matches while here. We’ve been to Belgium Slovakia, which wasn’t a bad game at all, Turkey vs Georgia and Spain vs Italy tomorrow. I said to my friends that I was looking forward to yesterdays game the most purely for the atmosphere and it surpassed my expectations by far.
It p*ssed it down all afternoon yesterday and they cancelled the fanzones and city watchalongs iin Dortmund and Cologne. Luckily we managed to get an umbrella just after the heavy rain had started so we didn’t get too wet!
Hopefully that’s the worst of it out of the way now. | | | |
