Where has all this Hirst is injury prone nonsense appeared from? 00:15 - Aug 31 with 776 viewstonybied

The guy has made 52 appearances for us in a season and a half. He's had 2 moderate unrelated injuries since we've signed him. It's not like he's spent more time on the treatment table than being available.

It's not that he's prone. It's just that in in recent history he's not been available. Hopefully it's all sorted now. But there's many examples of how players can get one injury and suddenly they start to have others. I've read somewhere before that's to do with how the body compensates different parts of the body whilst one is recovering so sometimes certain areas weaken which were never injured before.

a niche perspective

I've seen quite a few posts on here stating he is injury prone recently, that's what I'm addressing. He had a fairly long lay off last season with the hamstring issue but if he does return to the squad after the international break it'll be a massive total of 4 games he'll have missed!
