Counted probably a dozen West Ham shirts getting on the 12.26 Sudbury train last weekend. I found that surprising at the time but perhaps I was being naive.

Strikes me as someone who started following them about 2 or 3 years ago. Was probably a United fan growing up. Absolute embarrassment. Wearing a microphone like that to a game should be a prison worthy offence.

Well I think Suffolk is no doubt a serious option for people moving out the East End of London either due to gentrification or retirement. There are definitely ITFC fans along the A12 that have family members who are spammers. Seems people go one way or the other. But Sudbury must be the former, where people have moved out of London for cheaper property. It then takes a few generations to convert them back into ITFC fans. We probably have an equivalent (or more) of Suffolk folk going the other way and moving to London.
