Much is obvious but the need and benefit of a good nights sleep means this is more important than it at first seems.

When the rowing 8s won gold at the olympics, sleep was one of the factors they considered may give them that extra yard. As rowers are traditionally very tall, the support team ensured they had oversized beds so they could sleep more comfortably.

The amount of nights footballers spend in hotels before away games, it would be a serious dereliction of duty on behalf of clubs if they aren't providing a consistent sleeping environment. Brailsford didn't just do pillows - Team Sky had mattresses, pillows, duvets, and portable AC/purifier units. No reason why a PL club can't do the same.
