Two Doubts for Saturday
Two Doubts for Saturday
Thursday, 12th Apr 2007 18:55

Goalkeeper Lewis Price and full-back David Wright are doubts ahead of Saturday's home game with Derby County. Price hurt his foot at Sheffield Wednesday on Monday, while Wright has been suffering with a virus this week.

Boss Jim Magilton told the club site that the pair will face fitness tests prior to the Rams match: "David has not trained since the Sheffield Wednesday game and we will take a look at him on the Friday.

"He's keen to play and hopefully he will be OK, but we will see how he is before Derby.

"Lewis took a knock at Hillsborough and has been struggling a bit this week and again we will see how it is, but Shane is raring to go so we have cover."

If Wright isn't considered well enough to play, Dan Harding will come into the starting line-up having returned from a two-match ban as a substitute against the Owls.

The Blues are already without Richard Naylor (bone bruising to his toe) and Sylvain Legwinski (broken metatarsal) who are out of action until pre-season.
