Michael Synnott and Sammy Moore have signed their new one-year deals with the Blues. Midfielder Moore made his first team debut as a sub against Sunderland last season, while defender Synnott is yet to appear for the first team but won his first Republic of Ireland U21 cap earlier this year.

Fabian Wilnis and Ian Miller have already agreed to sign their new one-year deals.

Meanwhile, boss Jim Magilton is reported to have denied any interest in Reading's former Cork City defender Alan Bennett. The Blues were understood to have asked the Royals about the Republic of Ireland international's loan availability for the season ahead.

Elsewhere, former Blue Tommy Miller, perennially linked with a return to Portman Road, is claimed to be a summer target of Romanian side Steaua Bucharest.

Miller, out of contract at Sunderland and available on a free transfer, could get to play Champions League football if the move comes about.
