Defender Scott Barron has completed his move to Millwall. The 21-year-old had the final year of his Town contract settled last month.

Barron passed a medical last Thursday and has agreed to sign a two-year deal with the Lions, where he will be reunited with former Town assistant boss Willie Donachie, the current manager at the Den.

Donachie says Barron is determined to help Millwall win promotion: "Scott played quite a number of games in the Championship when I was at Portman Road.

"He's desperately keen to prove himself here at Millwall and get back to that level here.

"You can't have too many good left-footed players in your squad and I'm sure Scott will prove a real asset for us."

Barron made 16 starts and one sub appearance for Town after coming through the academy. Last season he spent time on loan with Wrexham where he made three starts.
