Fans Forced to Move

A number of season ticket holders in the existing tier of the South Stand are being forced to move their seats to the new upper level. Fans in the back rows of Churchman's are receiving letters telling them that from next season they will have new seats at the front of the new section.
No mention is made in the letter of any extra cost above the normal annual rise for their new seats which are in an area that the club will presumably see as more expensive than the basic £19 seats the current Churchman's consists of.
It is thought that the seats will make way for a 350-capacity corporate suite in between the two tiers of the new stand.
There is also an inference in the letter that part of the South Stand may at some point become part of an extended away area once the new North Stand is completed. With the capacity at 30,000 Town would need to find another 1,000 seats for away fans in an area which is satisfactory to the police; an area as near the station as possible.
The moving fans are invited to peruse their new seats and will be contacted by May 21st to arrange private viewings.
