Striker Jon Walters and defender Alex Bruce have both been named in a Republic of Ireland B squad for a friendly with Scotland at the Excelsior Stadium, Airdrie on Tuesday, November 20th.

Earlier in the week, FIFA confirmed Bruce's eligibility for the Republic, the former Birmingham man having already won one B cap in addition to his single full cap and a number of U21 appearances.

Walters won U21 caps with the Republic prior to his move to Portman Road, but this is his first call at any level since his move to the Blues in January.
