Gorawski Gets Reserves Run Out
Wednesday, 12th Dec 2007 14:15

Polish trialist Damian Gorawski is expected to get a run out for the reserves this afternoon in a behind-closed-doors friendly with Watford.

Gorawski, currently with Russian side FC Moscow, has joined the Blues for a second spell after impressing in his initial week at Playford Road a month ago.

The 28-year-old is primarily a right winger, although he has also played in other midfield positions during his career. Gorawski is available on a free transfer with his FC Moscow contract having come to an end.

Capped 14 times by Poland, scoring one goal, Gorawski, 5ft 8in tall, started his career with Ruch Chorzów, joining Wisła Kraków in 2003 before a £900,000 transfer to FC Moscow, the club formerly known as Torpedo-ZIL, two years later.

The Ruda Śląska-born player was forced out of the Polish squad for the 2006 World Cup at the last minute due to what was reported to be severe asthma, although he has subsequently been given the all-clear by specialists.
