Scottish reports claim the Blues are one of a number of Championship clubs interested in Aberdeen striker Lee Miller. The SPL side have already rejected an offer from Blackpool for the 24-year-old Lanark-born frontman.

Dons director of football Willie Miller says his side are keen to keep the 6ft 2in tall striker at Pittodrie and yesterday offered him a new deal: "We haven't really been in a position to speak to Lee. He is at the top end of our wage spectrum here. We have always told him he is a valuable member of the squad and kept him informed of things."

Miller started his career at Falkirk, before Bristol City paid £300,000 for his services in July 2003. The striker failed to make an impact in England and went on loan to Hearts in January 2005, remaining with the Edinburgh side for the rest of that season.

With Hearts wanting to make the move permanent and Aberdeen also interested, Miller instead moved to Dundee United for £225,000 during that summer.

After a disappointing spell at Tannadice, the Scotland B international was given a free transfer to Aberdeen in August 2006 where his career has again taken an upturn. This season he has scored eight goals in 28 appearances.
