Moore Completes Stevenage Move Monday, 28th Jan 2008 17:22 Midfielder Sammy Moore has completed a move to Stevenage Borough on a free transfer. Moore, 20, was told last week that he would not be offered a new deal with the Blues at the end of the season. Boro chairman Phil Wallace said "Sammy is a very similar player [to Stuart Lewis who left Stevenage for Gillingham yesterday] and he's delighted to be joining Boro and helping us to win promotion. "I think the fans will love his energy, determination and commitment and we're looking forward to seeing him in a Boro shirt." The former Charlton and Chelsea schoolboy was a member of Town's 2005 FA Youth Cup-winning side and had been linked with Leeds United and Nottingham Forest. Moore spent the first half of the season on loan at Brentford.
