Murphy and Irish Qualify Tuesday, 18th Mar 2008 22:40 Academy striker Paul Murphy and the Republic of Ireland U17s qualified for this summer's European Championships by defeating Portugal 2-0 in Galway on Tuesday evening. Murphy, who had started the two previous group games, won his 10th U17 cap as a second half sub. The finals will be held in Turkey in May.
