A band calling themselves the Super Blues Brothers are to release a CD entitled Sing for the Tractor Boys. The tune recorded by the two local musicians, who want to remain anonymous, has been played on SGR and has gone down well with listeners.

The song will be played over the tannoy at the Liverpool game with the words printed in the programme. The CD is not yet available but a limited number will be on sale soon.

Club Director of Communications Alesha Gooderham said of the song: "Throughout the season we have received a number of songs written by fans and there is no doubt that this one stands out. The chairman, manager and various staff members at the club have all heard the song and think it reflects the great atmosphere of Portman Road."
