Clarke and Supple on Bench Again

Billy Clarke and Shane Supple were again unused subs for Falkirk last night as their loan club completed their 'regular' season with a 2-1 defeat to Aberdeen at Pittodrie.

The SPL now splits into two for the final five games with the Bairns in the lower section having finished seventh.

Supple is yet to play a game for Falkirk with Austrian stopper Robert Olejnik keeping him out of the side having kept six clean sheets in the nine games since the Irishman started his loan spell.

Clarke has had rather more involvement, scoring one goal in one start and five sub appearances.

Meanwhile, Town dropped to eighth in the Championship after Crystal Palace's 2-1 victory over Stoke at the Britannia Stadium last night.

The win saw the Eagles to sixth, two points ahead of the Blues and one ahead of seventh-placed Wolves. Town have played one game fewer than Neil Warnock's men, while Mick McCarthy's side have a game in hand on Town.
