No Deal for Kuqi
No Deal for Kuqi

Crystal Palace boss Neil Warnock has revealed that Town do not want to sign loanee Shefki Kuqi on a permanent basis. The Finn, previously at Portman Road between 2003 and 2005, re-signed for the Blues on a temporary basis in March.

Warnock said: "I'm not sure what is happening with Shefki right now. Ipswich don't want him any more, so we will have to wait and see."

The Palace manager told Kuqi he had no future at Selhurst Park prior to his move to Town after the former Stockport, Blackburn and Sheffield Wednesday man had made a gesture towards Eagles supporters having received abuse when subbed during a game against Wolves.

Kuqi's second spell at Town was hit by injury, the 31-year-old picking up a hamstring problem in his first game and never really recovering. Even so, the Kosovo-born frontman made two starts and two sub appearances, but failed to score a goal.
