Clegg: Town Link Speculation Sunday, 12th Apr 2009 08:46 Former British Olympic Association chief executive Simon Clegg has described reports that he is set to join the Blues in a similar role as "speculationâ€Â. Clegg, who officially left the BOA after 20 years earlier this week, has been widely tipped to take over from Derek Bowden, who leaves at the end of the season. According to a national newspaper, Clegg says he has received a number of approaches regarding a new position since leaving the BOA, but is yet to make a decision on his future. The 49-year-old, believed to be a friend of Town owner Marcus Evans, resigned from his job with the BOA in December due to differences with chairman Lord Moynihan.
