Section 6 member Matthew Thompson says they will be out to make an impact on Sunday and next season.

Section 6, the supporter-led initiative to improve the North Stand atmosphere, has been continuing persistently for the past few home games and although still relatively small, we know that it will take determination and time for us to grow.

Unfortunately we have had some of the poorest recent home performances to contend with, but in time hope to improve.

Throughout the summer we are going to try and change our positioning in the North Stand Lower to nearer the centre of the stand rather than to one side so that it will be possible for Section 5 to hear us, and for us to hear them more, which should contribute to an overall better atmosphere in Portman Road.

For the forthcoming Norwich game we are planning a small but lively display which mainly involves a paper banner showing our rivals who the real Pride of Anglia are and also a confetti display somewhere between this and this.

If you are in Section 6 for the game it would be good if you could help by just throwing some of it in the air. We will be giving some along or you could bring your own.
