Ipswich-born singer/songwriter and season ticket holder Asa Jennings has completed work on a superb video celebrating Town’s success over the last 50 years.

Asa's debut album My Own Worst Enemy was released in 2007 and has gone on to sell in over 30 countries. Last season he was asked by former Town star Fabian Wilnis to write a new club theme and a low res version his video for Let's Go To Town is now available to view here. A high res version of half of it can be seen here with the completed piece to follow in the next few days.

The video includes clips of Town’s League Championship, FA Cup, UEFA Cup and promotion-winning sides, and some of the club's greatest ever players and goals and took Asa more than 75 hours to complete.

Also on Asa's YouTube channel are videos from the making of Let's Go To Town as well as vocal performances from the likes of Kevin Beattie, Fabian Wilnis, Jason Dozzell and Pim Balkestein.

Asa has done a great job capturing the spirit of the history of ITFC, with a great track and a song that deserves to be the official Ipswich song, but what do we get from the posters here? Crap comments from our more moronic supporters.

I can also tell from these pitiful comments that most of you weren't around during Sir Bobby's reign otherwise you would know of the parallels between the start of RK's reign and Sir Bobby's including the morons who were singing for his sacking back then. And if the powers that be did sack him just think we wouldn't have had the great times some of us so fondly remember.

Great job Asa, don't let the morons get you down, as you know more people in the forum appreciate your song and the video.

Thanks Wicked.

I have no problems with any feedback good or bad and nothing will detract from the fantastic support the fans have given the song so thank you very much everyone for your kind words, I'm glad you've enjoyed the song and the video and of course if, as has been suggested by a great many, this is something that people wish to see adopted officially by the club then do let them know as they are aware of the song and have received it well and been supportive (it's being played Saturday just before kick off) but they do not wish to force something on the supporters quite rightly and would like the supporters to put this or anything else they would like to see at Portman Road to them.

Thanks again everyone.
