Rosenior on Trial at Hull Thursday, 28th Oct 2010 09:13
Former Town loanee Liam Rosenior is on trial at Hull City and played for their reserves in a 3-0 home victory over Scunthorpe last night. Rosenior has been looking for a club since leaving Reading in the summer having spent the whole of last season with the Blues.
The 24-year-old right-back came close to rejoining Bristol City earlier in the summer before deciding against a return to Ashton Gate.
Meanwhile, former Blues midfielder Devann Yao is on trial at Brighton and Hove Albion. The 20-year-old American won a short-term deal with Town after a trial last season but was released in the summer.

I think we could do a lot worse than this guy. He was pretty good at times for us and maybe a bit of time out the game will have made him a bit hungrier.

What did he do to burn his bridges here. I didn't think he was that bad. Couldnt we do with another right back?

Not sure why he wasn't offered a contract here, but the fact that he is STILL without a club speaks volumes .....

Apparantly he fell out with Roy over his treatment of young players ,all to do with subbing Garvan after 20 mins in one of our games . I thought he always played well for us and certainly better than our options at the moment . And Dobie there are a lot of good players without clubs i think that is just the climate and teams trimming their squads ? Richard Wright is a good professional ,Lee Hendrie ,Jay De Merritt

Burnt his bridges at Watford last season which is a pity because we still have no adequate replacement. Losing him and Wright has been our achilles heel at right back as Peters not the answer in that position.

Agree that Peters is not the answer. But would just like to say that the lad always give it 100% and is prepared to play in all positions. His heart is in the right place and the attitude that Ipswich need.

Sounds like a bit of an ego to me...what did he do at Watford? I think Peters is solid enough, though Eastman certainly isn't up to playing full-back, he seems scared to cross the halfway line.

Jack Ainsley will be pushing Eastman .As for Rosenior - he lost it - as did many on that horrible night last season at Watford - some never came back from that one !! Garvan included !!

I wonder his ego will cope with a place like Hull where the seagull sh*t helps to raise the tone.
