Welcome Paul Jewell and although you were not my first choice you will get my 100% support as did Roy Keane. In my opinion it is not right to slag off the manager or playing staff no matter how bad things get because those who make the decisions at the club will finally make the right one. You are the only Premiership manager that has taken two clubs into that division so no one can say it was luck. I hope over the next two and a half years we get together a solid squad and that we become the third team you have taken to the Premiership and once you get us there you stay with us.

Dear All - from now on can we all end the practise of starting comments with "Never my 1st choice" - he's here, he will do well, let the new manager have at least 12 months honeymoon period this time!
