Arsenal Away Leg Sells Out
Arsenal Away Leg Sells Out
Friday, 14th Jan 2011 12:22

Town have sold their entire allocation of 9,000 tickets for the second leg of the Carling Cup semi-final at Arsenal on Tuesday 25th January. The final 1,100 seats at the Emirates went on sale this morning and were quickly snapped up with queues outside the ground and the Portman Road phonelines jammed.

Ticket office manager John Ford told the club site: "The game is a complete sell-out now, with Arsenal selling up at their end and the last 1,000 or so tickets going to our fans in the first hour this morning.

"We actually received 27,701 calls on our hotline number in the first hour, so that shows the demand.

"Our allocation is 8,944 tickets for the game. They have all gone and there are supporters going on corporate packages with the club as well, so there will be over 9,000 Town fans at the Emirates."

The match will be Town’s first ever visit to the Emirates.

He's only a poor little spaniard,
He spooned it from all of 4 yards,
His pants got all wet,
When we hit the net,
now arsen wont let him play for barca anymore

Just a warning to anyone scanning for tickets.....I purchased tickets from footballseatfinder.com a week ago and have a bad feeling about it, they say there are 24 left and although they have reassured me with an email I have serious doubts, does anyone know of this company......I am such a sucker!

good effort by everyone, just goes to show the potential of our fan base if we can tap into it.
still think the club needs to encourage the fans back to portman road by keeping ticket prices down next season, what a differance a full house made on wed night,

great result and performance to-boot, however what concerns me is why have we only been awarded 9000 tickets for cup semi final whaen leeds received 13000 for fa cup 3rd round tie? we would easily double sales on the allocation we have been given but i dont really know what % of the cappacity away teams are entitled to, can anyone tell me?
i wont be at the game because of work commitments overseas but after travelling to highbury several times in my life as a blues fan and always getting turned over apart from a previous cup tie where if i recall marcus stewart (i think) scored a late winner in front of the north bank i will be glued to the internet and going through every touch, and attack along with all you lucky buggers who will be there shouting at fabregash.
coyb. are you watching naaarich scum?
