Town have confirmed that keeper Brian Murphy will return to action this evening when the reserves take on Watford at Boreham Wood’s Meadow Park (KO 7pm). The Irishman has been sidelined since breaking his ankle in training two days before Christmas.

Luciano Civelli, Luke Hyam, Jack Ainsley and Tom Eastman will also be in the squad, along with a number of academy scholars.

Watford, whose reserves are managed by former Blue David Kerslake, include striker Marvin Sordell, who scored against Town's first team at Vicarage Road earlier in the season, and Matt Whichelow, who scored all five goals in a 5-0 thrashing of Stevenage's reserves on Monday.

Ex-Boreham Wood youth Matt Whichelow is also set for a start alongside Sordell, looking to add to his five-goal Monday night haul against Stevenage. Dale Bennett, Michael Bryan, Piero Mingoia and Rene Gilmartin should also take their places in the starting line-up alongside a mix of first and second-year Academy scholars.
