Town Reveal New Home Shirt
Friday, 8th Apr 2011 07:26

Town have revealed the new home shirt for the 2011/12 season, which will be officially launched at Planet Blue on Saturday.

The shirts are available for order from the club’s online store from 9am today with Planet Blue and telephone sales via 01473 400501 starting from 9am on Saturday.

As previously, the first 5,000 shirts will feature three stars representing Town’s three major trophies. These will be sold on a strictly first come, first served basis.

Pre-ordered shirts will be ready for collection from Saturday 2nd July with deliveries dispatched from the warehouse the previous day.

The closing date for pre-ordering the new shirt, which makes reference to the pinstripe look of the early eighties, is Saturday 18th June.

You'll all buy this cheap, itchy, sweaty tut for 60 quid anyway.

And your kids.

Keane out, comrades.

53 quid for a replica shirt. I don't think so. If the club wants all the supporters to wear these things perhaps they should look at the rip off pricing of them.

Probably made in India/China/Malaysia etc for a couple of quid per shirt and they then add on a huge profit.

Not just ITFC of course, all clubs are doing the same thing.

Really !!!!!
two years to design this shirt and they seemed to have forgotten about it until last week and this is what they have come up with,
Primark could have done a better job with some beads and a bit of bling lol

The shirts OK, great for kidz ,just overpriced as normal ! Cut the price and it will sell ! Give one to every season ticket holder who renews for cost price - about a fiver !

dear mums, dads and kids - don't waste your money on this piece of plastic material which costs about £3-£5 to make and put the £30-50 towards a season ticket and really support your team from the stands.

Looks like it's only going to be for 1 season anyway. Normally it would say home shirt for 2011/13 but this one only says 2011/12 which looks like a new brand of kit will be coming next season. Only concern is they will be bringing out a new home AND away shirt at the same time!

Never buy them so not really that bothered. Would have been nice if we could have the white sleeves back for a couple of seasons - at least they were something a bit different.

simply because we cannot get a good deal from the big guys, we don't sell enough to have them knocking at our door, actually 'mitre' is a serious brand, but the the designers have to much time to play with photoshop, the best teams in the world have a simple designs not a combination of stripes, flashes and the stars which are embarrasing when used at grounds like the Emirates.

Why can't we get someone like Adidas to ake them again? Core, Punch, Mitre.....these brands are what Lidl are to Waitrose.

Bit surprised, basically an amalgamation of the last two. Yawn. Would have preferred something a bit different, been years since we've had a shirt with white sleeves for example.

If we go for Adidas or Nike we would have one of their god awful, stomach-churning template kits forced on the likes of Bristol City, Peterborough, Hull, Palace etc. Liverpool, Chelsea all pay extra for 'bespoke' kits so forget it.

That said, this is naff. But then most football shirts are anyway.

I don't klnow what people are seeing, to be honest. It looks like the best shirt we've had for a while. Presumabily those moaning that its got pin stripes complained a couple of years ago - a shirt which I thought looked terrible. This is much better, without the full round white collar and I like the idea of solid blue arms. Looks good to me. I may even buy one for the first time in about 10 years.

worst ever. fookin shat. as said in many previous posts , so unimaginative. I would love to see just just a deep blue shirt with next to no white in it. this is utter crapola.

Pretty much the last 2 homem kits mixed together not very much thought gone into it and trying to blag it to us by saying pinstripes like the 80's, and also only for 1 year so will be costing us 53 quid just for the 1 season ridicolous. Oh well will be buying 1 anyway just hope its a lucky charm next season

Whoever designed that needs to be taken out and shot. Sorry but it is naff.

Why can't they do some research and look at the best shirts from around the world, take the good and design something to be classic and of quality!?
