Fülöp Set for Exit
Saturday, 6th Aug 2011 15:35

Keeper Márton Fülöp looks set to join West Brom having been left out of the Blues’ 16 at Bristol City today. The Hungarian was linked with a move to the Baggies earlier in the week.

Fülöp moved to the Blues from Sunderland for £750,000 a year ago but his exit isn’t a surprise after David Stockdale’s recruitment on a season-long loan from Fulham.

With the Cottagers having a 24-hour recall on Stockdale, the Blues are certain to move for another keeper.

Ex-Blue Richard Wright recently trained with Town with manager Paul Jewell admitting he was impressed, but the former England man is now spending time with Cardiff City.

fair play, if he wants first team football, then there is no denying it.. great keeper, especially against cardiff, and arsenal..

just saw billy sharp has grabbed a goal.. in my opinion, we should still be bidding for him! look at darren bent, he went to villa for £22M, and everyone was questioning the price, but now i'd saw he's priceless!, why don't we bid at least £4.2M for billy sharp?! just think chops, and sharpy up top, with JET coming in from the right, now that's where we're talking! and if he gets the goals, we're definitely the dark horses of this league, (even mark lawrenson said!).. a top class manager we've got, and in PJ we trust!

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!

Excellent, let's hope we can get a few pounds for him and offload his big contract.

Come home Richard Wright! I'd have no problem with him coming into the side if Stockdale were to get injured or recalled, so let's try to sign him up.

I'd let him go to be honest, PJ must move for another 'keeper if Fulop does go, personally, I wouldn't go with Wright.

Only if we get our money back, then who do we replace him with? With Stockdale on a recall clause and our only replacement is ALB, who was poor last year, we need another good keeper.

Then send Stockdale back, i know he's good and done well against Bristol City, but he hasnt got a future at this club and if recalled could put our season in jepordy.
